ALEXANDRIA, Va. (ABC7) — A Florida pimp pled guilty Tuesday to sex trafficking of a 16-year-old girl in Virginia and throughout the United States.
Andrew Lee Thompson II, 34, faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum penalty of life in prison, according to a release from the Department of Justice U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Virginia.
Thompson met the teen girl and began trafficking her with two other people identified as Delberta McKenzie and Rachel Robillard.
The release states Thompson posted prostitution ads online between Feb. and June of 2017. He drove and flew the girl for prostitution jobs in the U.S. which included Virginia, Florida, and Georgia.
According to the release, a security guard spotted multiple men heading in and out of two hotel rooms on Glebe Road in Arlington, Virginia.
Police investigated the rooms and rescued the teen girl. Thompson was later arrested.
