NYPD #OFFICERS #ACCUSED OF #RAPING #TEEN POINT TO HER ‘PROVOCATIVE’ #SELFIES

The cops claim the sex was consensual, which is a legal impossibiltiy given the circumstances.

NYPD officers Eddie Martins and Richard Hall have already admitted to having sex with a teenager in custody after being accused of brutally raping her. The two have already been stripped of their badges and placed on modified duty. Now, they are attempting to discredit the accuser by noting her “provocative” images on social media.

The teenager, who is using the alias Anna Chambers on social media, is suing the NYPD for $50 million in damages. She claims that she was arrested during a traffic stop after police found prescription drugs in her car. The two arresting officers allegedly took the victim to their unmarked van in handcuffs, raped her, and threatened not to free her unless she complied with their sexual demands.

DNA evidence confirmed that the officers had sexual contact with the teen, but the officers insisted the sex was consensual — a legal impossibility considering the circumstances. The legal team of the officers are now allegedly trying to demonstrate the victim’s complicity with the acts by pointing to her posts on the internet in what Jezebel derisively described as “the ‘it’s not rape because she’s not acting like a perfect victim’ defense.”

“She has posted Instagram videos of herself using drugs and rapping in her ‘Fi5ty Milli’ persona about the case while joking about the millions that will be ‘in her bank account,” the officers’ lawyers note in a letter to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office. “This behavior is unprecedented for a depressed victim of a vicious rape.”

“There was zero consent,” the teen’s lawyer, Michael David, said. “The cops were over 6 feet tall. She’s very petite, like 5-2 and maybe 100 pounds. There’s nothing she could do.”

“We’re dealing with a teenager here,” David continued, “and teenagers, they post a lot of things. This is her way of trying to cope. People have different methods of coping. She’s been helpless until now. So it doesn’t matter what this teenager says on social media. It can never take away from what these monsters did to her.”

“We would expect the police commissioner to take immediate action in firing these two officers,” the vctim’s attorney told the New York Post. “Additionally, we request that all this shaming and smearing of the victim of this vicious attack be stopped immediately. We look forward to the conviction of these individuals.”
