Saylorsburg man pleads guilty to sex trafficking minor

WILKES-BARRE (TNS) — A man who was previously charged with raping a child pleaded guilty Monday to sex trafficking involving a minor in Luzerne County.

David R. Parker, 39, of Saylorsburg, engaged in sex trafficking of a male in 2010 from June 1 to Aug. 31, according to a criminal information filed last week in federal court. Further details surrounding Parker’s current charges were not disclosed.

Parker has been hit with charges involving minor children before.

The state Office of Attorney General in November charged him with unlawful contact with a minor, sexual exploitation of children and rape for allegedly bringing a 9-year-old boy to a home on Butler Street in Pittston where another man engaged in sexual contact with the child.
