WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
A 17-year-old DC boy was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man in Southeast Washington in September.
Quincy Garvin, 17, of Southeast DC has been charged as an adult in the death of Carl Hardy, 24, of Northeast Washington, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police Department.
On October 26, police arrested Saquan Williams, 16, and charged him as an adult with murder in Hardy’s death.
Officers found Hardy with a gunshot wound in the 1200 block of I Street, SE on Sunday, September 10 at approximately 5:56 p.m. He was taken to a hospital. He died on Sunday, October 1 from his injuries, police say.
On October 2, police released a video of several people and a car connected to the murder. In the video, the driver of a black car stops in the middle of the street, as several people appear to exit the vehicle.
The car then pulls up a few feet and stops in the street when three people wearing black, who are apparently armed with guns, run and hop into the vehicle before it drives off.
