SFPD officer arrested on child porn charges


SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco police officer has been arrested on child pornography charges, police confirmed this afternoon.

Officer Joshua Enea, a 37-year-old Antioch resident, was arrested today by San Francisco police investigators on suspicion of felony possession of child pornography.

A 10-year veteran of the force, Enea has been suspended without pay. He was booked into San Francisco jail this afternoon with bail set at $100,000.

Police said they learned that Enea might be in possession of child pornography in February, and removed him from direct contact with the public while the case was investigated. He cleaned SFPD horse stables for six months while he was under investigation.
